Spike Sikes and his Awesome Hotcakes is a Sonoma County-based band renowned for their soulful blend of swing, jazz, R&B, and blues. Formed in 2014 by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Spike Sikes, the group delivers a sound that’s both nostalgic and fresh, reminiscent of classic artists like Ray Charles and Van Morrison. Their 2022 album Magnolia Street captures this essence, offering tracks that are both heartfelt and dance-inducing. Recognized as the “Best Blues Band” in Napa, Sonoma, and Marin Counties for three consecutive years, they continue to captivate audiences across Northern California with their infectious energy and timeless tunes.
