He moved to California in 1989 and has since made significant contributions to various music genres, including rock, blues, gospel, bluegrass, and folk. Hanlin is well-known for his work with bands like Bourbon Jones and The Dibs, showcasing his versatility and talent as both a guitarist and vocalist.
